Serivore — last updated: August 30, 2026
The short version
- One address for everything: contact@serivore.app. We answer within three working days.
- Most things are self-service in the app: resending a confirmation email, exporting your data, deleting your account.
- Wrong or missing show data comes from our third-party sources — section 4 explains how to get it fixed at the root.
- Serivore is free, with no subscription and no in-app purchase. Nobody will ever ask you to pay.
1.Contacting us
Serivore is published by Maxence Bekier. There is no phone line and no chat widget: everything goes through contact@serivore.app, read by a human. Expect an answer within three working days; write in English or in French, whichever is easier for you.
To save a round trip, tell us:
- your @handle (or the email address on the account);
- the app version and your iOS version — Settings, at the bottom of the screen;
- what you expected, what happened instead, and the steps to see it again;
- a screenshot, if the problem is visible.
2.Account and signing in
The confirmation email never arrived. Check your spam folder first — it is by far the most common cause. Then ask for a new link from the sign-in screen: a fresh one can be sent every five minutes. A link is valid for seven days, and only the most recent one works.
Forgotten password. "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen sends a reset link, valid for one hour. If the account was created with Sign in with Apple, it has no password at all — sign in with Apple again.
Changing your email address. The change is confirmed twice: first from your current address, then from the new one, which receives its own link right away. Until that second link is opened, the account keeps working but the address is not yet confirmed.
An account you never confirmed. It is deleted automatically after seven days and the address becomes free again, so you can sign up afresh — useful if you mistyped it.
A suspended account. Suspensions are notified by email, with the reason and the end date. A suspended account keeps access to its library but cannot post. If you think it is a mistake, reply to that email.
3.Your library
Sync. Your library lives on our servers and follows your account across devices and the web client at serivore.app. If two devices disagree, open the app on both and give them a moment — sync runs on launch.
Importing from TV Time. Settings offers a one-off import. Very large histories take several minutes; leave the app open until it finishes. Shows our catalogue does not know are skipped and listed at the end.
An episode is missing, or a title looks wrong. That data is not ours (see section 4).
4.Show data, air dates and posters
Serivore does not maintain its own show database. Titles, synopses, posters and cast come from TheTVDB, air times from TVmaze, and streaming availability from TMDB (JustWatch data).
So a missing episode, a wrong title or an absent poster is almost always a gap in the source. These databases are community-edited: correcting the entry on TheTVDB fixes it for everyone, and Serivore picks the correction up on its own within a few days. Write to us if a correction has been in place for a while and still hasn't reached the app.
Air times. Many platforms do not publish one. When the hour is unknown, Serivore only knows the day — which is why a reminder for those releases arrives at 9 a.m. your time and says the episode is out today, rather than claiming an hour nobody knows.
5.Notifications
Three kinds of release reminders exist — new season, new episode, and a nudge for an episode still unwatched two days later — plus notifications about your comments and followers. Each has its own switch in Settings, and they follow your account across devices.
If nothing arrives at all, check that notifications are allowed for Serivore in iOS Settings: a permission denied once is never asked for again by the system, and only you can turn it back on there.
You can also mute a single show from its page, without touching any of the switches.
6.Reporting content or a user
Comments on Serivore are public, so everyone gets tools to protect themselves. From any profile or comment you can hide a user (their content disappears for you), block them (you become invisible to each other), or report content or behaviour.
Every report is read. Measures are graduated — removing the content, marking a comment as a spoiler, suspending the account temporarily, and deleting it for serious or repeated breaches. The rules themselves are in our Terms of Service. For anything urgent, write to contact@serivore.app.
7.Your data
Export. "Download my data", in the app and on the web, builds a complete readable archive on request: account, library, watch history, ratings, comments, lists. You do not need to write to us for it.
Deletion. "Delete my account" erases your account and everything attached to it, immediately and permanently. It cannot be undone — export first if you want a copy.
What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy. For any request about your rights: contact@serivore.app, answered within 30 days.
8.Bugs and suggestions
Both are welcome at the same address. Bug reports that include the steps to reproduce the problem get fixed first, simply because they can be. Feature requests are read even when they go unanswered for a while — Serivore is built by one person, and the roadmap follows what people actually ask for.
9.Requirements and cost
Serivore runs on iPhone with iOS 18.6 or later, and in any modern browser at serivore.app with the same account.
The service is free: no subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising. If anything ever asks you to pay for Serivore, it does not come from us — please tell us about it.
